Why it passes

Do they have their own story?

Adam’s fear, anger, sexuality, friendships and treatment decisions are central.

Are they allowed to live?

Survival pathway is explicit; death is possible but not romanticized.

Does the medical reality hold up?

Diagnosis, chemo, surgery and odds are narratively present, though compressed.
